NYE Celebration...

The Seelback Cocktail

1 ounce bourbon
1/2 ounce cointreau
14 dashes aromatic bitters
Brut Champagne
Orange Twist

Shake the bourbon, cointreau and bitters together in an ice filled shaker.  Strain into a cocktail glass.  Top with chilled champagne and garnish with an orange twist.
 Every NYE celebration requires a fine cocktail and merry company.  Thankfully we had both! We loaded up the car (Fitz included) and headed to Wisco to spend to welcome 2017 with some of our most favorite people on the planet!

 We ate snacks before dining on shishito peppers with mint and prosciutto, cauliflower soup with chorizo, the longest cooking lobster risotto in history and harissa steak with roasted green beans. By the time we finished our dinner it was moments before the stroke of midnight!
 All we needed to do was toast the new year with a bit of bubbly, take a fun portrait and hit the sack! It was a fun and festive way to welcome 2017.  We really do have the best of friends!
