A White House Holiday...

It was a total thrill to visit the White House for a little bit of Christmas cheer!
The decorations celebrating #whholidays were nothing less than spectacular. This Christmas tree, housed in the Blue Room was a a whopping 17 feet 6 inches tall! It was a sight to behold and I think Leif and I look like a couple of elves standing in front of it.
Seeing the  ginger bread White House in the State Dining Room was a highlight of the evening. It was extraordinarily detailed and I cannot imagine the number of hours it took to complete!
My favorite room was the Green Room. The more modestly sized trees featured all sorts of fruit and vegetable ornaments and honey bee garlands. The whole room celebrated the gift of healthy foods; right up my alley of course!
And we loved bumping into Sunny and Bo...
...but not as much as we loved sharing such a memorable evening with our gorgeous friends.
After taking in all the gorgeous sights and nibbling on a few delicious things like lamb lollis, stone crab claws, and decadent coconut cake, we gathered in the Cross Hall to listen to our President spread some holiday cheer before heading back to the hotel for a nightcap.
My life feels pretend a lot of the time.
