Easter Brunch...

 Bright and early on Easter Sunday I whipped up a batch of pretty deviled eggs before heading north to grab Finn's best girl and head toward Lake Geneva.


 In addition to the eggs, I also brought a lovely piece of smoked salmon from Calumet Fisheries to add to the display, but my mom really hammed it up for her Easter buffet. She made yummy potatoes, salads and green bread to go with her perfect ham.






 After enjoying a lovely meal and good conversation we celebrated the March birthdays in our family with a traditional (okay freaky looking) lamb cake from the Oak Park Bakery.  It was a lovely way to spend a day!
