Noble Street Memories...

Yesterday we took a little jaunt past our last Chicago apartment.  The long, narrow space was as quirky as they come; it had no less than half a dozen doors to the hallway, an honest to goodness dumbwaiter, and plate glass window in the middle of the kitchen.  It had a lovely marble fireplace, a claw-foot bathtub and two spacious bedrooms.  This apartment was Emma's first home and we filled it with memories before buying our house in Oak Park when she was almost 2 years old.  This second story flat may look pretty run-of-the-mill, but is will always hold a special place in our hearts.
