Tree Trimming Treats...

Each year we make an assortment of snacks to enjoy while we decorate the Christmas tree.  This year Nancy brought a pot of warming Italian Wedding Soup to share and I wanted to be sure our little nibbles fit and Italian theme, too.  I threw together a few different things, but these easy chicken wings were easy to make and big on flavor. Give them a try!

Parmesan Chicken Wings
4 pounds chicken wings, separated at the joints, tips reserved for another use
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning blend
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/3 Cup olive oil
1/4 Cup Parmesan cheese
3 Garlic cloves, chopped
1 Tablespoon honey
1/4 Cup Italian parsley, chopped
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 Cup Caesar salad dressing 
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  Place the chicken wings on a parchment lined rimmed baking sheet.  Season with the Italian seasoning blend, salt and pepper and roast for 30 minutes.  Meanwhile mix the olive oil, cheese, garlic, honey, parsley and seasoned salt in a bowl. Toss the hot cooked chicken into the cheese mixture and toss to coat.  Combine the dressing and mustard to serve as a dipping sauce alongside the seasoned wings.
