UofC and UCMC...

This afternoon, Emma, Elise and I met up with Leif for a few "take your daughter to work" inspired activities.  Elise is an aspiring medical student and it seemed only natural to share University of Chicago and University of Chicago Medicine with her today.

We checked out Rockefeller Chapel, the Booth School of Business,  and Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic Robie House; they are all located within sight of each other and linked by architectural details.

The girls checked out an out dated lecture hall and left their mark on the room!

After a brief stop in Leif's office and learning about the Pritzker School of Medicine, Elise took a tour of the medical center.  She even met up with one of the foremost thoracic surgeons tn the country and chatted with him about his recent lung transplants. They take about 14 hours to complete by the way!
Leif, is an excellent tour guide to say the least!
