Bonjour Elise...

Today we welcomed Elise, an English student from Brest, France.  She is traveling with a larger group and  will be spending the the next three weeks with our family.  All of the host families live locally and we could not be more excited about having her join our family an experience all that Chicago has to offer! It was quite an airport welcome!

We drove through the city on the way home to give a Elise an idea of what the next three weeks had in store for her. We enjoyed a dinner of some very un-American Spaghetti and Meatballs before heading out to the very patriotic fireworks display in the village.
After oohing and ahhhing our way through the evening we tucked our sleepy world traveler into bed for the night!  Honestly I am surprised she made it through it all, but she is quite a trooper.
