Ten Courses.

To say I have been cooking a great deal lately does not even describe the half of it.  A month long cooking marathon culminated with a custom created ten course dinner for eight I prepared last night at a private Oak Park residence.  I thought all ten dishes were distinctive, but progressed in harmony.  Plating them up reminded me just how much I adore making pretty food.  Take a look...

sphere. soup. truffle. parmesan. chive. butter

donut
gruyere. beet. almond


crab
smoked paprika. arugula. cider

molé
scallop. chicken. blue corn. pumpkin. 

bun
gwa pao. pork belly. hoisin. cucumber. scallion

churro
cinnamon. sugar. chocolate. anise.
