Kroll's: A Family Institution

Gathering our family at Kroll's West in Green Bay proved to be a huge bright spot in our week-end.  The restaurant played host to my parents while they were dating in high school and Emma earned her first dollar dancing in the Kroll's parking lot when she was less than two years old.
In addition to serving up memorable burgers,  the establishment is located across the street from Lambeau Filed.  My Grandma lived within walking distance of the stadium and used to listen to the Packer games from her from yard.  At the start of the 4th quarter she'd walk over and save a table for our family before the restaurant was crushed by a post game crowd. It was only fitting that we all ended up in a nostalgic Green Bay restaurant for some serious comfort food!  My chili (yep, it had spaghetti in it) and cheeseburger totally hit the spot!

Seeing our family relax in a familiar setting after a long week-end was even more fun than enjoying  the fantastic butter burgers at Kroll's!
