Scene Stealer.

Those of you who attended our wedding will surely remember the unforgettable flower girl down front; she twirled her necklace, untied the ribbons on her basket of petals and even took off her shoes during the ceremony.
She generally stole the show!

When I first met Sally she was just one year old and I had been hired to babysit for her and her two older sisters for the summer.  To say I fell in love with all three of them would be an enormous understatement and keeping tabs on them in the years following our summers together has always brought me tremendous joy!  I remember dancing with Sally to Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally" before her naps like it was yesterday, but today, nearly twenty year after out first meeting, I had the chance to see little Sally all grown up!
I'd say she's turned out  well!  Wouldn't you?
Emma and I were delighted to support Sally by taking in a performance of Shakespeare's, As You Like It, at UWM's Peck School of the Arts this afternoon.  The production overall was heartfelt and honest; Sally played Celia with both confidence and grace.  Most importantly Sally refused to be tripped up by William's nimble words and her easy nature on stage made her character approachable, humorous, and sincere.  She basically glowed up there and it is safe to say I was really proud of my girl...even though she has suddenly gotten WAY too old for my liking!
