Car Repairs.

My car has been making a rather odd noise for quite a while now and yesterday it was particularly bad.  Every time I'd make a hard  right something on the left side of the car would eventually pop; it sounded like a metallic clank and frankly started to make me a little nervous.  I talked to Leif about it last night and we made a plan for me to take it in on Tuesday to be checked out...I didn't want my mini van's steering column going out on me!  Today when I turned right to pull into a slot at the local grocery store I heard the loudest pop yet and started to worry that my wheel might fall off before tomorrow.  Thankfully, we live near a tire shop and I decided to make a quick stop to ensure I wasn't living dangerously in my mini-van.  I am sure they would have been more than happy to take a peek at it, but before I went over, I checked under the driver's seat and promptly declared my car repaired when I found this rogue can of chicken broth that had gotten trapped under the driver's seat and had been rolling around when I turned right.  There was a 10/$10 sale on broth not too long ago and one must have gotten away from me!
Thank goodness I didn't take it into the tire shop. I think I might have died of embarrassment!

Ok, this sounds like a story I'd be telling. Too good.

You and Ang with your strange items under your cars. Hilarious! Glad you didn't have to go to the car doctor, but I did for exactly the same reason as you thought you would have to (and a couple more)....$700 later!!!

Sounds like a story that should somehow be included in "Chicken Soup for the Soul."
