Awful Offal?

Offal (n): Also known as 'variety meats,' includes the organs, glands, tail, feet, snout, tongue and other viscera and trimmings of a butchered animal that are edible, but relatively uncommon in western kitchens today.
Even if this photo makes you feel a little queasy I bet you are wondering about it.
Want to see what this little bit of offal turned into?
Check it out at Inspire Mel.

The only problem I have with tongue is, whenever I cook one I have very strong urges to go buy a $3000 Hobart deli slicer.
