Get Sharp!

I am making a bunch of crazy soups over the next few days and you know what that means...CHOPPING, CHOPPING, and more CHOPPING! I work primarily with just one knife in my kitchen and I have to take really good care of my most relied upon tool. Keeping my chef's knife sharp is always a top priority. I sharpen and hone my knife with a stone and a steel at home, but sometimes I need a little bit of help. Thank goodness for Bagat Brothers! This tiny little knife sharpening service shop is tucked into a little garage on Roosevelt Road and for $3.00/knife I walk away in just a few minutes with a tool in tip top shape. I think this little shop is a gem in our community and everyone should take advantage of their friendly services!

Neat! But it sounds dangerous. (especially if you're as clumsy as me) What do you wrap the knife in to transport it? Do you have some kind of fancy sleeve?

I have knives from our wedding that are so dull they're useless. I need to see the knife man
