A Minter Week-End

This week-end our dear friends Ed and Miles came in for the night. I decided to take this as an opportunity to prepare a special dinner for them. I was most excited to cook for, budding foodie, Miles, and I think he enjoyed the offerings. He had never eaten a scallop before and seemed quite taken with the Lemon Ricotta Ravioli I created especially for him! I even surprised Ed by inviting Brian and Ang to join us for dinner!

Following our delicious dinner, the boys settled in to watch a movie and the adults retired to deck. Before we had a single pause in the conversation or a break from frequent bouts of laughter, it was 2am and we all realized we might be a little worse for the wear in the morning! Needless to say we rallied and managed to take Ed and Miles to enjoy a Cemita in the city before hitting the Garfield Park Conservatory. What a perfect evening among friends!
Thanks for making time for us, friends! We always treasure time spent in your company.
