Tapped.

Leif and Brian tapped a keg of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (Leif's favorite beer) and I whipped up some insane little meatloaf sliders (Leif's favorite food) and we were prepared to celebrate Leif's 40th in grand fashion!

Old and new friends came to celebrate with Leif from as far as Washington DC! Our yard was alive with good cheer and both beer and conversation flowed freely.

No-one could actually upstage Leif at his 40th birthday party, but this handsome 10 week old little guy came awfully close in my mind! As dawn approached the last of Leif's guests headed home, there wasn't a scrap of food left and yes, the keg was tapped...empty...dry as bone.
What a great night! I can't think of many people worth celebrating more than Leif and last night proved I am not the only one who feels that way. Thanks for joining us friends.

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your husband's birthday milestone. While I realize that my time there was far too brief, every minute spent was lovely. You and Leif have created such a warm and loving home and you've surrounded yourself with true friends and admirers who wish you continued success and happiness.

I hope you enjoyed yourself even 1/10 as much as your guests did.

Rhonda
