I am sitting here stunned.
I didn't really think Chicago would win the Olympic bid in the end, but I didn't prepare myself for the subtle sadness that would wash over me upon learning our city's hopes for 2016 has been dashed in an instant.
People all over are commenting that I feels like our city is the victim of a hit and run.
I tend to agree...
It would have been one heck of a party!
