Today I was a woman of leisure. In fact, at one point during my day I placed a call to Leif and shared the news that I feared he could not afford to keep me any more!
I started out with a lovely acupuncture session to boost my Xi and assist in warding off a cold I have been fighting. Feeling relaxed and blissful I made my way half a block to have my hair cut and colored for the holidays. Feeling relaxed, blissful, and pretty I drove to Freddy's Italian market to pick up antipasto makings for Thursday night. The place was crowded with people and festive; I had four people waiting on me and I sampled a bunch of delicious Italian treats. Feeling relaxed, blissful, pretty, and epicurean I headed to the Marion Street Cheese Market to have a quick lunch with my friend JS. Before I knew it we were engrossed in conversation, drinking a gorgeous Oregon Pinot Noir, and dining on a trio of cheeses. Just when I thought the day couldn't get more perfect the most beautiful snow started to fall. As I was leaving the market with some champagne and fresh mozzarella I found a box of nine sugarplums...one for each of the people attending opening night plus two for the stars!
Relaxed, Blissful, Pretty, Epicurean, Perfect.
